About Sarvabhauma
Viduratha is his father and Suratha his grandfather. In the Vishnu Purana, Jayasena follows Sarvabhauma, and Ayutayus follows Jayasena. The genealogy identifies Sarvabhauma as an individual within a succession, rather than using his name simply as a general title for a ruler.

ROLE & ESSENCE
Attributes & Significance
Sarvabhauma connects Suratha’s grandson Viduratha with Jayasena’s line toward Ayutayus and Akrodhana. The familiar royal household of Pratipa and Shantanu belongs farther down this succession, after the intervening generations of Riksha and Dilipa.
TRADITION & MEANING
Traditions & Interpretations
The Bhagavata also names Sarvabhauma between Viduratha and Jayasena, but adds Radhika between Jayasena and Ayutayu. A shared ancestor does not require every later generation to be identical across accounts.
